Growing up in Chicago, Paula Green devel-oped an interest in world music and jazz early on. Green studied congas and drum set throughout her high school years, earning a reputation as a player-to-be-watched in Chi-cago's bustling jazz and R&B circles. She attended Berklee College of Music starting in 2001, and quickly became a staple player in Boston's live hip hop and R&B scene. Green performed in some of city's most important venues, playing jazz, hip hop, Latin jazz, funk and more. She even garnered an invitation to 2003's International Hip Hop Summit in Havana, Cuba. Green continues to perform with some of the East Coast's busiest working bands as a percussionist, drummer and vocalist.
